Do you have a school group that would like to take a field trip to the Hocking College Nature Center? We are pleased to offer private tours and special programs to fit your class needs and curriculum!

Incorporate nature into your students’ learning experience with us in one of three ways:

Traditional Field Trips: Bring your class to the Nature Center and explore all we have to offer! See all of the animal ambassadors we have on display and explore our exhibits, like the visitor favorite augmented reality sand table where students can learn about the natural behavior of water runoff and topographic maps! Our student naturalists are happy to provide special programming to suit your class needs and time constraints!

At Your School: Can’t come to the Nature Center but still want to give your students the Nature Center experience? Let us come to you! We are happy to bring a selection of our animal ambassadors to your classroom or school event. Just like our traditional field trip option, we are happy to shape our programs to suit your curriculum, time constraints, different age groups, etc.

Virtual Field Trips: Online classes may be less than ideal but that doesn’t mean that they can’t be full of fun! Ask us about virtual programming options to bring nature-based learning to your students, wherever they may be.

Submit a programming request to: quackenbushp@hocking.edu.
